Each year the MATE Show strives to award exhibitor's that demonstrate outstanding displays and service. Exhibitors are divided into three categories. Winners announced Thursday evening.
Win a week’s worth of radio spots on the Northern Broadcasting System!
Exhibitors will have the opportunity to win a one-week Event Advertising Package on the Northern Ag Network and Northern News Network.This radio advertising aired prior to a regional trade show like MATE is a great way to spread the word about your products and services!
If you use the advertising in conjunction with the MATE Show and Home & Health Expo, you may also use the MATE jingle music with your ad.
Across four states, Ag Producers depend on Northern Ag Network and the Northern News Network for market information, news and weather every day! For over 40 years, MATE has used the market muscle of this outstanding network.
Unidentified judges will grade exhibitors in three categories:
Category One: includes Agriculture exhibitors 1-8 booths
Category Two: includes Agriculture exhibitors 9+ booths (large booth)
Category Three: includes exhibitors in the Home & Health section
The awards will be given at the exhibitor social hour on Thursday night at 6:05pm.
Both Ag winners will receive a 1-week region-wide Event Advertising Package which has a value of $700.If you’d like to learn more about the Northern Broadcasting System, you can check them out at www.northernbroadcasting.com or www.northernag.net.
The Home & Health winner will receive a 1-month advertising package valued at $600 from KGHL 790AM and 94.7FM, the flagship station for the Northern Ag Network.
The criteria used for judging the Best of Show awards will include the following:
- Clearly show the product and/or service, i.e.; signs, products visuals.
- Identifiable exhibitors, i.e.; uniforms, name badges worn on right lapel.
- Presence within the exhibit at all times.
- Attractiveness of the display, i.e.; clean, well-lit, ample display.
- Attention-getters, crowd appeal, i.e.; activity, demonstrations, etc.
- Greets customers enthusiastically, i.e.; smiles, handshakes.
- Professionally made signage.
